El Sendero del Abuelo is a stirring nine-song multimedia journey that transforms a New Mexican family’s World War II history into a living tapestry of music, memory, and image.
Through UNM Mariachi faculty Robert L. Lucero Jr.’s original pieces, inspired by the wartime journal of his grandfather and accompanied visually by family and archival footage and images, the show traces a path through heritage, love, war, and return—honoring Latinx stories that helped shape America and still light its way forward.
Tickets available at the Box Office or unmtickets.com.
