NASA Region II Virtual Conference April 23rd-25th, 2021
The North American Saxophone Alliance was established in 1976 under the leadership of Frederick Hemke. Since then, NASA has offered state, regional, and international conferences attracting many important saxophonists to present performances, lectures, and masterclasses. NASA is the largest organization in the western hemisphere dedicated to the establishment of the saxophone as a medium of serious musical expression.
Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
The Region 2 Virtual Conference is committed to providing NASA members with a platform that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive. The goal of the program committee is to present a conference that reflects the diverse population of the Region 2 saxophone community. Therefore, we strongly encourage all presenters to consider including a diverse range of voices and influences when preparing their presentations. Performances that feature works written by and/or performed by underrepresented communities are also encouraged.

The 2021 NASA Region II Virtual Conference will be April 23rd-25th.
The program committee is committed to providing a meaningful and engaging experience for all attendees
and presenters through a program of clinics and pedagogical events, virtual concerts and recitals, lectures,
and panel discussions. By providing opportunities for direct engagement throughout the event schedule,
it is our hope that the NASA Region II Virtual Conference will be a platform for our members to learn,
connect, and grow together, even as we stay apart.

Master Clinics
Master clinics are short, topical clinics with the professional members of Region 2. Selected students will be able to participate on camera with the clinician, who will present on a specific topic or skill. Attendees at home are also encouraged to play along and use the chat to submit questions during master clinics. Students of all levels are encouraged to apply to be included in a clinic.
