The UNM Wind Symphony is under the direction of Eric Rombach-Kendall and is open by audition only.
The Wind Symphony has performed at national and regional conventions of the College Band Directors
National Association. Beginninng in 2005, the ensemble became the accompanying ensemble for the Alessi Seminar, held on the UNM campus in alternating years. |

Symphonic Band provides a place for the serious player to explore classic and contemporary repertoire for the wind band.
Under the director of Chad Simons, this group is open by audition to talented musicians on the UNM campus, regardless of major. |

Sponsored jointly by the University Bands and UNM Continuing Education, the Campus Band is open to all students as well as to musicians from the campus community, Albuquerque and surrounding communities. No audition is required. |

The Spirit Marching Band, directed by Prof. Chad Simons, performs three to five different shows each football season.
The band performs at all home football games and travels to selected games away from campus.
The Band has made appearances at the Aloha Bowl in Hawaii, Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego,
the Sun Bowl in El Paso and has performed in Las Vegas, Tucson, Las Cruces and Colorado Springs.
Each year the band hosts the Zia Marching Band Fiesta, one of the largest and finest marching competitions in the region.
The Spirit Marching Band is open to all UNM students and to students at Central New Mexico Community College. |

This pep band is open by audition to all UNM students. Soundpack performs at all home basketball games and at selected games away from the UNM campus. The band has appeared at the NCAA Basketball tournament in Richmond, Virginia, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. For more information, contact the UNM Band Office at (505) 277-8988 |

YOUTH BAND |
The Youth Band was initiated to give the finest high school students an ongoing, high quality musical experience that supplements their school band instruction. The ensemble is open by audition to students in grades 9 through 12. |
