Four levels of class instruction are available—see below for descriptions and course materials. Priority is given to music students, but non-majors may also enroll with permission of the instructor. Contact the instructor for information and placement at the appropriate level.
Group Piano classes are taught in the Piano Lab, which contains 24 electronic pianos.
PIANO PROFICIENCY: Piano classes are designed to prepare music students to pass the piano proficiency at the end of Group Piano IV. Music majors whose degree plans require a piano proficiency should enroll in Group Piano classes. For information about the Piano Proficiency Exam, click HERE.
