DEPARTMENT CHAIRMAN
The Chairman of the Department is Dr. Steven Block. His office is located in Room 1105. Dr. Block can be seen by appointment, or by walk-in at his weekly “open hour.”
MUSIC OFFICE
Room 1105, phone (505) 277-2127. The Administrative Assistant is David Kelly (dkelly@unm.edu). Contact this office regarding:
- General maintenance problems, such as replacement of lights, plumbing problems, locks that don’t work.
- Problems with your Lobo Card and access to the practice room area.
- Music Department Comp Card
- Scheduling classrooms
- Scheduling appointments with the chairman
NOTE: Music Office telephones are not available for general use except in emergencies.
Keller Hall Office
Located on the second floor of the building, in Room 2134, phone 277-2131. The Keller Hall Manager is Tori Weller (toriw@unm.edu). Contact this office for:
- Scheduling events in Keller Hall
- Obtaining room keys
- Signing out lockers
- Scheduling practice times in grand piano practice rooms
Sound Recording Office
Room 1136, phone 277-5235. Contact the Sound Recording Engineer, Manny Rettinger (manrett@unm.edu), to arrange recordings of recitals.
